RELEVANT PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES & EXPERIENCE:

 

Currently, Technical advisor for the Spanish delegation at the MEPC 47, MEPC 48 for the Ballast Water Working Group, International Maritime Organisation (IMO).

 

Currently, working with PLW Associates on a Research project funded by the European Commission (DG Transport and Energy) under the 5th Program for R&D.  The project focuses on formulating safety and environmental measures and procedures to mitigate the impact of three key elements of shipping operations on the marine environment.
